Highlands Sports Complex Basketball Programs
Basketball Camps are the foundation for many of our hopeful superstars. Learn the fundamentals of basketball in our engaging and fun youth basketball camps. Highlands Sports Complex offers camps for a variety of ages – elementary school to high school students. Basketball camps are designed so that all skill levels will have fun and learn techniques to be a better player.
Our Summer Basketball Camp is for Kids ages 5 to 12 interested in learning more about Basketball. This camp will be led by our head coach, Garrett Richards, along with other assistant coaches.
During the 4-day camp, participants will participate in Shooting & Dribbling drills, Offensive, and Defensive Strategies, be taught the game rules, participate in scrimmages, and learn how to work as a team.
Camp is designed for players of all ability levels and will consist of three-hour sessions Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 12 pm.
Enroll your child in our All-Star Adventure Camp from 12 pm-4 pm. Your child will have lunch and participate in fun group activities during this time. There will also be an opportunity for Arcade play and Play climbing during the week.
Please note lunch will not be included. Your child must either purchase a meal plan, Purchase lunch from the café or bring their own.
Camps are catered to each age group. Although we will have beginners starting in every age group, skills and knowledge are more advanced as you increase in age. We make sure every camper is challenged, whether that is asking a little more or a little less compared to the group.
Our basketball camps are designed into sessions, split by age, and are designed for boys and girls.
Safety is always important when participating in our camps. It is important that participants wear appropriate athletic or basketball shoes and comfortable athletic clothing, preferably a t-shirt and athletic shorts. Please only wear non-marking soled shoes. It is your discretion if your child needs protective eye gear or mouth guards.
You do not need to bring a basketball to camp – they will be provided by Highlands Sports. Your child is welcome to bring a water bottle or sports drink. We have water filling stations available.
If you would prefer other basketball options, take a look at Youth Basketball Development Classes. These classes are spread out over several weeks, training once a week.
Highlands Sports Complex has six full-size regulation basketball courts. There is ample seating spread across the fieldhouse and 2nd-floor mezzanine for parents and guardians.
Court assignments and other information will be provided upon signing up for your individual camp.
